JCA – Academy Days Poster – Around the World

Going along with the international theme, I designed a poster that could also be printed at smaller sizes to serve as a flyer. I used a number of techniques to make the materials stand out from the norm. Vibrant “power” colors helped gain initial attention to the clean design, while the angle and cropped text created enough visual tension to hold the eye. That same motif carried through to the event shirts. I was able to work with a local printer on the unusual placement and we found a way to screen the design around the side of the garment so that the arrow wrapped around.
